November 6, 8 AM - 5 PM
Participants in this workshop will learn the uses and manufacturing processes for making gourd implements such as containers, instruments, ornaments, and various other items used every day in prehistoric lifestyles.
Cost: $75 for members, $85 for non-members
Recommended for ages 16 years & up.
Lunch will not be
provided; however, an hour break will be given for participants to either leave
for lunch or eat a packed lunch on-site.
All workshop participants are asked to bring the following:
• Personal Protective Equipment (protective eyewear, mask, gloves, etc.)
• Sharp pocketknife or sheath knife
IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
> Food will not be provided (an hour lunch break will be held from approximately 12-1PM).
> Participants can bring their own food for lunch (fridge is available to store lunches) or leave during lunch break. There are a number of restaurants close by.
